Do's & Don'ts - Terms & Conditions of Entry

Donald BNS Inc. operates under strict Planning Permit Conditions set out by the Buloke Shire Council and the MBS, therefore by purchasing a ticket and/or entering the Donald BNS event grounds, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions:

General Entry Conditions

  • 18+ EVENT ONLY – Valid photo ID is required on entry.  Please have this ready.
  • NO TICKET, NO ENTRY – Tickets must be purchased via the official website. Do not purchase tickets via Facebook or unofficial sellers.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.  You can on-sell and change name (all ticketing queries to Pulse Ticketing).
  • Event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove patrons from the event grounds at their discretion.

Prohibited Items & Activities

 The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on the event grounds:

  • No glass
  • No food dye
  • No circle work
  • No pets
  • No gas cookers
  • No BBQs
  • No generators
  • No firearms or ammunition
  • No fireworks
  • No jerry cans
  • No vehicles on trailers
  • NO FIRES

Camping & Grounds Rules

  • Strictly NO camping in front of or behind your vehicle.
  • Yes you can bring your camper/caravan
  • No key banging between 11:00PM – 9:00AM.
  • BYO alcohol (CANS ONLY – NO GLASS) is permitted in the camping grounds but cannot be taken into the main arena.
  • Strictly NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT once parked only to enter or exit the grounds
  • Strictly NO riding on the back, front, or sides of Utes 

Behaviour Policy

Donald BNS operates under a strict “No Dickhead Policy.”

Any person displaying antisocial, aggressive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour will be evicted from the event grounds immediately.

Fire Safety

Patrons may have fires in drums ONLY No open fires or fire pits BYO drums and Fire Wood. However by doing so, they accept full responsibility and liability for any fire, damage, injury, or loss caused. All fire restrictions and directions from event staff and authorities must be followed at all times.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) laws will be strictly adhered to.

Holding a ticket does not entitle you to alcohol service. If you are deemed intoxicated by bar staff or RSA marshals, you will be refused service and may be removed from the bar area or event grounds.

Drug Policy

Donald BNS enforces a strict No Drugs Policy.

Drugs are not part of true country culture. Anyone found with drugs or deemed to be under the influence of drugs will have their wristband removed and be immediately removed from the event grounds.

Liability

The Donald BNS Committee, sponsors, volunteers and landowners accept no responsibility for damage to property, vehicles, or personal injury before, during, or after the event.  All persons attend the event at their own risk.

Bucking Bull Ride

The Donald BNS Inc. Committee, sponsors, volunteers and landowners accept no responsibility for personal injury before, during, or after riding the Bucking Bull.  All persons use the ride at their own risk.  The Bucking Bull operator reserves the right to decline any patron who they deem intoxicated from riding the Bucking Bull.

Media & Privacy

Please note that photography and video recording will occur throughout the event. By attending the event, you consent to images and footage being used for future promotional and marketing purposes.

Drink Driving

Drink driving is a crime.

Do not move your vehicle until you are legally able to drive.

BMFHQ will be onsite Sunday 19th April from 7:00AM – 11:00AM providing FREE breath testing.4

Dress Code for Saturday Night Ball

The Duckz Dutz Ball is strictly a black-tie event. 

Formal evening wear is required on the Saturday night.
